2014 International Symposium on Conceptual Transfer
Call for Papers
The 2014 International Symposium on Conceptual Transfer will be held May 24-25 at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. The main topics include ① Revisiting linguistic relativity, ② Translation and metaphor, ③ Cultural, semantic and conceptual transfer, ④ The psychological representation of conceptual transfer, and ⑤ Theoretical and methodological issues in the investigation of conceptual transfer. Other topics related to conceptual transfer are also very welcome.

Abstracts should not exceed one page and preferably be in PDF format (Word format otherwise). Authors are invited to send an e-mail to conceptualtransfer@163.com with two copies of the abstracts attached:
- one anonymous abstract (with title),
- one abstract with the author’s name, affiliation and e-mail address
Deadline for submission: February 28, 2014
Notification of acceptance: March 15, 2014
