Seminar of Strategies and Practical Ways for the Construction of First-class Foreign Language Disciplines
In the new era of China’s “Double First Class University Plan” for discipline construction and higher education reforms, certain issues have become a general concern for language experts in China and abroad. These issues include challenges relate to the foreign language discipline development and the search and implementation of suitable plans to build first-class foreign language disciplines.
SFL will hold the Seminar of Strategies and Practical ways for the Construction of First-class Foreign Language Disciplines on April 20, 2019. The aim of this seminar is to discuss the construction of first-class foreign language disciplines and to find ways to further their development. So far, SFL has invited heads of foreign language departments in Chinese universities and colleges and discipline pioneers to the seminar. Other scholars interested in this field are also welcome to join.

Conference fee: 800 RMB.

Payment method: registration fee will be paid online in advance or on-site upon registration. The official receipt will be issued by the team of conference affairs.

Other expenses: travel and accommodation expenses will be borne by each participant. Meal costs during the conference shall be borne by the organizer.
