More than 40 teachers and students from School of Foreign Languages participated in the opening ceremony of the 48th Sports Meeting of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and many competed in a variety of single and team sports events.

Teachers excelled in various sports events. Ms Wang Yuexi and Ms Ding Hongwei won the first and fourth place of women's Standing Broad Jump of Group B. Ms Fan Likun won the second place of women's 100m breaststroke in Faculty Group A and the third place of women's 50m breaststroke in Faculty Group A. Mr. Wei Xiaofei won the fourth place of men’s 100m freestyle and the seventh place of men’s 50m freestyle in Faculty Group B. Ms Zhang Li won the sixth place of women’s 50m breaststroke in Faculty Group B. Mr. Shang Biwu, Mr. Wang Jinbo, Mr. Yang Dongdong and Mr. Jiang Yupeng chased in the 4*100m relay race. Ms. Qiu Kuanyong and Ms. Lu Qianxi competed on the 100m race, showing the energetic spirit of teachers from School of Foreign Languages.

As the 48th sports meeting of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the event aims to display the competitive spirit of and promote a healthy lifestyle among teachers and students.
