The School of Foreign Languages Held the First Administrative Team Building Activity
At the time of Xiaoman, when everything was flourishing and the scent of summer was getting stronger, the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) held its first administrative team building activity in Pujiang Country Park. Zhang Hongmei, Associate Dean of SFL, Xing Lianqing, Vice Secretary of CPC SFL Committee, Zhao Xiaohong, Chairman of SFL Labour Union, and 23 administrative staff participated. Zhang Hongmei gave an enthusiastic opening speech, in which she said that the team building activity allowed the administrative staff to get out of the office and go close to nature and she hoped that everyone could exercise, relax and fully enjoy the time.
According to the layout of Pujiang Country Park, the activity was divided into three parts:warm-up, orienteering and summary. During warm-up, the teachers were randomly divided into three teams, which were respectively named "Blue Sisters Team", "Red Devils Team" and "One Heart Splendor Team". Within specified time, these three teams needed to complete eight orienteering tasks, which included "123 Look Here", "Plant Maze", "Big Brain Battle", "Hand Connecting Rings", "One paper One Circle", "No NG in 100 Seconds", "Step by Step" and "Frog Counting". There was also an engrossing "hidden task" that involved digging up each team’s "undercover" .
As the sun set, each team returned to the destination with laughter, having dug out the "undercover" and having successfully completed all the tasks with every member’s united efforts.
Xing Lianqing summed up the activity. She fully acknowledged the work of the Administrative Office in successfully organizing this activity, and regarded it as an activity full of surprises, which helped to enhance mutual affection, improve the efficiency and execution of future administrative work, and enhance the sense of belonging to SFL. Zhao Xiaohong mentioned that the activity deepened the understanding among colleagues and was meaningful and valuable. Congratulations on the great success of SFL’s first administrative team building activity!
