To celebrate the 113th International Women's Day and let all the female faculty and staff of the School of Foreign Languages spend a happy and warm holiday, the SFL’s Trade Union and Women's Committee organized a sharing session named “Create a Better Life” at noon on March 8th. Xing Lianqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SFL, Yang Xiaohong, Executive Chairman of the Trade Union of SFL, and 78 female faculty members of SFL participated in the activity.

Xing Lianqing, on behalf of SFL’s Party Committee and party leading group, extended to all the female faculty and staff holiday greetings and best wishes. She said that there were more than 134 female faculty members in SFL, accounting for 72.8 percent of the total. SFL’s rapid development and expansion in recent years was inseparable from the dedication and effort of every female member. As excellent as their male colleagues, female members promoted and contributed to SFL’s development. 

Yang Xiaohong reviewed the past year’s work and expressed her gratitude to all the female faculty and staff who had supported and encouraged Trade Union’s work. 

Next, two teachers, Zhang Li and He Yan, shared their colorful spare time lives.

The sharing session ended in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. The female staff of SFL spend a full, happy, and meaningful festival.

Finally, the attending teachers took a group photo as exquisite souvenirs from the Trade Union and Women’s Union were presented to them.
